Samsung recently began releasing its products under a new name called Fan Edition (or FE). It's only been a few years since they started doing this. The FE tag was first added to a product in 2020, and the company has continued to release new versions of it almost every year.
However, since the Galaxy FE lineup was introduced, the company has mainly concentrated on smartphones. And that has changed today with the introduction of more products with the FE name.
The company has now added tablets and earbuds to their Fan Edition series, in addition to the smartphone with the FE label.
The company has released new products called the Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Tab S9 FE, Galaxy Tab S9 FE+, and Galaxy Buds FE. These are the first products in the Fan Edition series.
What does it mean?
Fan Edition devices are designed to give people the same great experience as expensive flagship devices, but at a more affordable price. The first phone, called Galaxy S20 FE, was created with features and design taken from the top-of-the-line Galaxy S20 series. This was followed by the Galaxy S21FE, and now there is a new phone called Galaxy S23 FE.
After that, Samsung released the Galaxy Tab S7 FE, which is their first tablet in the Fan Edition series. The tablet had many of the same features and design as the more expensive versions from the company, including support for the S Pen. And, the same applies to the new Galaxy Tab S9 FE series too. It is water and dudust-resistantith an IP68 rating, just like the Galaxy Tab S9 lineup. It also supports S Pen and has fast 45W charging.
This year, the company has added another product to their series called the new Galaxy Buds FE. The Buds FE have a feature called Active Noise Cancellation, which helps reduce unwanted noise. They also have Multi point connectivity, which allows you to connect to multiple devices at once. The seamless switch feature makes it easy to switch between devices. The Buds FE have 3 microphones for better sound quality. The earbuds have dynamic drivers that produce high-quality audio. They can last up to 8 hours on a single charge.
All these features are taken from the higher-end Galaxy Buds2 Pro, which has a similar set of features. The main point is that it costs Rs 9,999, which is much less than the Buds2 Pro.
There is something that is still not here.
The FE lineup currently doesn't include a Galaxy Watch, which is an important part of the ecosystem. Samsung already has a Galaxy Book Go series that provides similar features at a reasonable cost.
